We are centrally located in the charming Hyde Park area of Austin. Situated on a corner lot, our property is nestled under a canopy of 150 year old oak trees and, in celebration of our 100th birthday, our buildings and grounds were renovated in 2010.
Our buildings are available for members and nonmembers either one time or on a recurring basis for classes, meetings, recitals, birthday celebrations, family reunions, weddings and other occasions with prior approval.
Wooten Hall is a large space with an attached nursey and kitchen that is ideal for groups or classes that need tables and chairs. However, if an open space is needed, the tables and chairs can easily be folded and put out of sight.
The sanctuary is perfect for musical events because of its excellent acoustics and includes a baby grand piano and speakers which project the music throughout the space.
Also on our property is a small historic home called Mavis’ House. The building includes a classroom, a library, as well as a lovely parlor. It can easily accommodate small groups and is available for dressing for weddings.
Our guidelines for building use are available below in the Building Use Agreement. If you are interested in using our property, please contact us using our Contact page or you may call our church office at 512-459-7747.
